I really doubt that this would even be considered by Apple as a possibility. Just like Google Voice could be an email client on version 1.0 and a Skype phone on 1.1, the fact that Apple doesn't control every aspect of the approval process would just scare them from approving anything that even stands a chance of breaking the control they already have.

Yup, javacio.us does something similar. But the reasoning for my script is that most of the time in my use-case, I have to search in private (company-internal) artifacts as well as commercials ones like BEA/Oracle JARs that would only exist in my HDD repo.

doesn't http://javacio.us/ do this for you? Finds it in jars and in pom files (only for public repositories and jar files, though).

Hi Matt,

Thank you for the great video! I have a small addition: few days ago Dmytro Shteflyuk has published an article about <a href="http://kpumuk.info/mac-os-x/how-to-show-ssh-host-name-on-the-iterms-background/" rel="nofollow">how to put host name used in ssh session on the background</a>. You both are my heroes :-)

Note that Git Extensions http://code.google.com/p/gitextensions/ is also a nice GUI shell extension for Windows. Not quite like Tortoise(X) but it's prettier IMO.

Not many Java developers on Windows use Emacs, I know, but for Emacs there is the great Magit (http://zagadka.vm.bytemark.co.uk/magit/). Magit is a much more comprehensive interface to Git than what the standard vc-mode of Emacs offers, and it's also much easier to use and more intuitive in my opinion. If you write code in Emacs, Magit pretty much obviates the need to access Git from the command line and also makes you reach for gitk and such much less frequently.

Just a heads up that we are currently upgrading kenai.com and are going through some maintenance in the datacenter that is hosting our infrastructure. We should be back in the morning though.

Hi,

how do the hudson plugins react to that? I could imagine they look for the xml files in order to show the test trend.
